Robert Rampton, DO

Robert Rampton, DO, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He treats all dermatologic conditions and has a particular interest in skin cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.

Dr. Rampton graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, with a degree in exercise science. He went to medical school at Arizona College of Medicine in Glendale, where he finished at the top of his class and was inducted into the Osteopathic Honor Society. After medical school, Dr. Rampton completed his internship in El Paso, Texas, and his dermatology residency at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Prior to joining Desert Sky Dermatology in 2024, Dr. Rampton served as the chief of dermatology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he oversaw the dermatology care for the military population of Hawaii and the other Pacific Islands. After serving for 12 years in the United States Army, he is thrilled to return to Arizona.

Dr. Rampton loves dermatology and caring for patients of all ages. He enjoys helping patients better understand how taking care of their skin can affect their overall health.

Dr. Rampton grew up in Corvallis, Oregon. After high school, he spent two years living in the Dominican Republic, where he became fluent in Spanish. In his free time, Dr. Rampton enjoys coaching youth sports and playing ultimate frisbee, softball, volleyball, and basketball. With his wife, Jessica, and three young sons, Dr. Rampton also enjoys camping, hiking, and anything outdoors.
