Board Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Mills is a board-certified dermatologist who attended the University of Virginia for her Bachelor of Science degree, graduating with high distinction for her research endeavors. While at the University of Virginia, she was one of 5% of students to be inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
Dr. Mills attended medical school on scholarship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, where she served as President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Vice President of the Gold Humanism Medical Honor Society, highlighting her commitment to both intellectual pursuits and compassionate patient care.
After graduating medical school at the top of her class, Dr. Mills completed a transitional year internship in internal medicine at HealthONE Presbyterian/St. Luke’s Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Mills then completed a rigorous dermatology residency at the University of Colorado, where she treated a wide variety of skin diseases in diverse patient populations at Denver Health Medical Center, Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs, the Children’s Hospital of Colorado, and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
Dr. Mills has experience treating patients of all ages, including children, and all skin types. Her professional interests include medical dermatology, cutaneous surgery, skin cancer surveillance, preventative dermatologic care, and complex medical dermatology. Her personal interests include spending time with her family, cooking food that her children refuse to eat, perusing airport bookstores, petting other people’s dogs, hiking, and shopping for sunscreen.
